BYD France is the French National Sales Company of BYD BV Europe and BYD Company Ltd, a China-based company and a leading global supplier of green energy technologies. BYD France offers a range of electric vehicles, including all-electric cars, buses & forklifts. BYD is expanding its operations in France to support a growing portfolio of New Electric Vehicle Passenger car and LCVs projects.

About the role

The PR Manager reports directly to the Marketing & Communication Manager.

The PR Manager is responsible to build the brand and drive sales in France by working closely with the Marketing & Communication Manager and build solid relations with Media Agencies, Press, French local institutions and support the dealer network

Key Objectives & Responsibilities:

• In charge of Marketing plans implementation aligned with European Marketing and PR Team.
•  Develop and manage National advertising and PR campaigns in conjunction with appointed agency.
•  Be the local point of reference for PR activities in France.
•  Build relations with press, media, digital influencers… and ensure visibility of the brand and product stories.
•  Ensure test drive facilities for Press, Media, Social media influencers and leasing companies (STR / LTR)
•  Be a brand Ambassador and work always with the Customer in mind.
•  Actively engage and Collaborate on any European event or activity as needed.

Required skills, qualifications and experience

• University Degree in Marketing, Sales, or commercial disciplines.
• Solid Experience in Automotive industry or Branded Retail Products.
• 5+ years of experience in roles related PR & Communication management and Marketing skills in Automotive business.
• Excellent Digital Tools knowledge.
• Customer-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
• Resilient and open minded.
• Results oriented. Ability to work to deadlines, hands on approach, motivated to get results.
• Effective and eloquent communicator in English & French language mandatory (Other European languages and/or Mandarin Chinese would be a plus)
