RV & TCO Data & Analysis Manager
About the role
The RV & TCO Manager is responsible for RV and TCO life cycle management of BYD cars and LCVs, and be the lead contact for our relationship with the residual value and data providers across Europe. The role requires close collaboration with internal departments, product, finance, sales, aftersales and also external companies in the fleet sales and retail finance sectors.
This is a new position and affords the opportunity to shape and create the department and role from the ground up.
Job Location: Netherlands or UK
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement a consistent RV reporting suite for BYD vehicles and their competive sets across Europe
- Establish, manage and influence the RV setter and data provider relationships
- Build robust and effective relationships with the major leasing, rental and finance providers
- Support new vehicle product launches by commissioning RV Optimisation and Car-To-Market studies with the key data providers and ensuring all relevant product, pricing data is provided on a timely basis
- Organise and participate in used vehicle, residual value and fleet events, building relationships with the key industry stakeholders
- Establish yourself as the go to person within the company for all RV related matters
- Educate and coach colleagues on the importance of RVs and managing our competitive TCO position
- Manage a team of RV and TCO analysts
- Support the European Key Accounts team and national fleet sales teams in RV analysis to help win sales opportunities
- Collect and analyse market data, monitor the performance and market feedback of competitor programmes (that are in the public domain), prepare reports and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of our RV positioning and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in RV management/Remarketing at an OEM, leasing company or RV data provider level with a solid knowledge of the rental and leasing sectors, regulations and best practices.
- Advanced project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and possess above average decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention for detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation and coordination skills, with the ability to establish productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with strong influencing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, with the ability to conduct data analysis and report writing.
- The ability to communicate and articulate complex subjects in simple language that everyone can understand.
- Fluency in English, with additional European languages an advantage
- Strong team collaboration and leadership abilities, with the capacity to drive teams towards common goals and effectively coordinate and communicate in cross-functional collaborations.
- A motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently, in a fast paced environment where common sense and initiative are essential personal traits.
- Willingness to travel as required in Europe and worldwide.
