About the role:

The Network Development Manager's role is roll out the Network strategy in the market of responsibility by leading dealer performance discussions regarding regional market exploitation, sales excellence, customer satisfaction, point of sales and aftersales facilities, and capacities. The manager will also assist with Merge & Acquisitions, follow-up on Term Agreements, Retail Appointments, Dealer Onboarding and supporting product launch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Roll out Network development strategy for Spain & Portugal, in alignment with European strategy and guidelines, leading new dealer partners onboarding and development accordingly.
• Develop and execute a Market Representation Business Plan that accomplishes the following:

     >Identifies dealers with sufficient capital, capacity, customer satisfaction and character

     >Strengthens dealer profitability

     >Facilitates BYD network development

     >Achieves volume and share growth objectives

• Define & implement Network plan in the assigned market to achieve the right size of the BYD network
• Lead Dealer onboarding into the business, integrating all related areas to ensure a proper business set up on due time
• Manage Performance Improvement Growth Process at underperforming BYD stores and identify opportunities for improvement / replacement
• Lead dealership and related contract/agreement negotiation
• Coordinate with all relevant resources to adjust the business processes, align task roles from all business levels & functions.

Required skills, qualifications and experience

• Bachelors degree or above, business management, engineering or legal background
• At least 3 years related working experience in Automotive industry in the region
• Project Management skills, expert in business acumen, including interpretation of financial statements, dealer performance reports and retail industry business dynamics
• Working experience in auto OEM for EU network development
• Native Spanish and Proficient English is a must.
• Experience in multiple roles is a plus
