Position: Facilities Coordinator

Location: BYD UK Office, Hounslow

About the role:

As a Facilities Coordinator, you will support the Operations Manager, responsible for Health & Safety compliance, facilities management, office operations, and general administration.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting site inductions and ensuring health and safety processes/policies/procedures are always observed
• Supporting office reconfigurations and moves, which can include installing, dismantling and relocating furniture, moving crates etc
• Interaction with building management teams and contractors.
• Dealing with postal and courier services (incoming & outgoing) and associated equipment
• Raising purchase orders and processing invoices in a timely fashion in line with the organisation’s responsible business charter
• Operate a range of software, including Outlook, Sharepoint, Excel spreadsheets and other databases, to ensure the efficient running of the office and maintaining accurate records
• Other relevant job duties assigned by line manager

Your profile:

• Previous experience of working within facilities management would be an advantage
• Understanding of managing health and safety within the workspace
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and other commonly used office packages
• IOSH (or equivalent) Health & Safety training certification (essential, or currently working towards)
• First Aid at Work (essential, or currently working towards)
• Ability to work under pressure to resolve issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Capable of priorisiting tasks
• Flexible, self-motivated and results orientated.
