Operations Support Assistant
About the department:
The After Sales department within BYD Europe is responsible for all Service & Maintenance related topics concerning our full electric buses and trucks. The Operations Support Assistant is responsible for providing adequate support to our customers and Service Providers in order to maximize customer satisfaction. This includes but is not limited to handling all customer requests in a professional manner - anticipating and addressing customer needs/desires, maintaining professional customer relationships, as well as optimizing all aspects of the after-sales experience.
Main responsibilities:
- Actively assist in scheduling service appointments and coordination of on-site visits.
- Handling and review of warranty related enquiries/claims.
- Collecting and reporting information of typical customer issues and critical escalations.
- First line of after-sales support, collecting all relevant data and escalating to relevant teams.
- Accessing, retrieving, and updating relevant documentation and customer data for European Aftersales market.
- Actively developing quick reference guides to improve support capabilities.
- Act as liaison point between BYD Europe and BYD China teams facilitating cooperation and fast resolution of all issues.
- Other responsibilities assigned from line manager.
Qualifications and requirements:
- An automotive or related background with a minimum 1 years experience within customer facing/administrative roles.
- Fluency in English is required. Any other European language or Chinese is a plus.
- Strong cross culture communication skills and cross-function coordination ability.
- Used to work with KPI’s and respecting SLA’S.
- Ability to work under time pressure and to strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Works precise and has eye for details.
- Is a team player and can also work independently.
- Is good in time management.
- Has good communication skills.
