Key Account Manager Aftersales - Nordics
About the role:
Due to the expansion of our activities, BYD Sweden is looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Key Account Manager aftersales (buses & trucks) for the Nordics (Sweden, Norway and Finland), reporting to the Regional Aftersales Manager Commercial Vehicles.
As the Key Account Manager Aftersales, you act as the main contact person for our key bus customers to ensure their customer satisfaction, implement new project for these customers, follow up on operational and management issues. Within the BYD organization you are the spider in the web between customer, other aftersales department including spare parts, sales and Project Management. You fully understand their requirements and the terms of the service level agreements and, as such, assist in minimizing delivery and availability penalties. You are also responsible to sign, implement and follow up Service Level Agreements including setting Key Performance Indicators.
As Key Account Manager AfterSales Commercial Vehicles, you will be involved in:
Customer Relationship management
- Regular contact with major stakeholders within the key account customers on operational and management level
- Ensure a timely follow up of pending operational aftersales related topics
- Periodical execution of customer satisfaction surveys among our customers and service providers.
- Develop, implement and follow up of service level agreements (SLA’s) including operational and fleet performance KPI’s
Internal coordination
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders within BYD Europe including Sales department, Project Management, training and Spare parts.
Project Management
- Coordinate the aftersales setup for new projects including training, workshop set-up and spare parts delivery.
- Manage and follow-up of Open Items resulting from the delivery
Customer Relationship
- Daily contact person for customers on operational and management level;
- Measure and manage the quality level and meet customer & PTA service level requirements;
- Minimize potential delivery & availability penalties.
Sales support
- Support the sales team during tenders and project implementation;
- Maintain customer relationship during the sales process for any after sales activities;
- Manage Customer expectations.
Your profile:
- Experienced as After Sales Manager within a mobility OEM (preferably with bus and/or trucks manufacturer) with proven leadership skills, managerial experience is preferred
- Have affinity with electric mobility and a solid technical knowledge
- Willing to travel on a frequent basis within the territory and abroad (including potential trips to China)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills and excellent knowledge of Swedish and/or Norwegian and English.
