Logistics Specialist
About the Department:
The Parts Inventory & Logistics department is responsible for taking care of the inbound of Spare parts imported from HQ and part of the outbound/Cross trade LTL/FTL/Express shipment. The Department is also responsible for implementation of the effective goods movement, coordination and to be sure that the shipment is arranged in efficient and cost competitive manners.
As Logistics Specialists you will:
- Operational daily work to arrange inbound and outbound LTL/FTL/Express shipment.
- Work with involved business owners to improve process of the shipment orders.
- Implementation of the effective goods movement, coordinate and ensure the shipment to be arranged in good way and fulfill the needs of the business owners.
- Monitor parts movement and to track parts status across multiple channels.
- Handle batteries and other DG management.
- Provide quick action by delivery failure and finding out the best solution.
- Set and monitor supplier KPI. Manage performances of 3PLs operations.
Spare parts documentation arrangement:
- Provide the quotation for the parts transportation inquiry.
- Prepare the correct transportation documents to the shipper and receiver.
- Ensure the POD can be provided to the business owners.
- Keep communicate with business owners and suppliers for the improvement.
- Take record for the shipment which spare parts Logistics department arranged.
Spare parts IT Operations:
- Support the finance to process/control the spare parts logistics invoices from the suppliers on Kofax/SAP system to avoid pending invoices.
- Improve the logistics application request in Jotform.
- Continue supporting company ISO procedure.
- Bachelor degree or above, in supply chain management, logistics management or other related background.
- No less than 3 years experience in logistics management.
- Able to respond fast and provide quick logistics solution.
- Able to handle multiple tasks, and work independently.
- Strong knowledge of logistics management processes.
- Excellent command in English and Chinese.
- Proficiency in MS office.
