About the job
We are looking for a Finance Controller for our Financial department, reporting to the Director of Financing and Risk Control Center.
Job responsibility:
Responsibility 1: Financing Activity and Control
- Responsible for financing and investment business of the organization with good risk management, especially including exploring financing resource,financing scheme formulation with competitive analysis, credit line application, financing management including post-funding management, penetration report, and settlement of interest subsidy fees, discounts and bonus, etc. and providing operation analysis and advice to management.
Responsibility 2: Accounting and Financial Control
- Managing all finance and accounting operations.
- Establish and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Oversee monthly financial closure and accounting. Supervise the preparation, release and timely submission of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Supervise the preparation of financial reports, including staying up to date with the latest changes to financial reporting practices, ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage cash flow, including forecasting cash flow needs, planning for foreign currency management, managing liquidity, and providing timely alerts.
- Lead budget management, overseeing the preparation, execution, analysis, and reporting of budgets.
- Strictly follow the financial requirements and document management policies of the group headquarters and submit reports and analysis in a timely manner.
- Implement internal controls, including gathering feedback from auditors, collaborating with them to design appropriate control functions, and collecting data on the effectiveness of the internal controls.
- Strictly review all types of expenses to ensure the security and rationality of financial transactions. Minimize financial risk by understanding current processes and streamlining new processes.
- Ensure financial and tax compliance, including understanding external reporting requirements, ensuring proper resources are available to meet these requirements, and overseeing the delivery of final products to external parties. Additionally ensure compliance of internal reports and statements within the group.
- Fulfill the financial role in projects, such as monitoring project execution and profitability. Act as business partner, deeply engaging in the business to provide professional support and services, and timely offering improvement suggestions。
Responsibility 3: Tax managment
- Responsible for national tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate tax declaration and payment.
- Conduct profit forecast and tax planning to ensure TP compliance.
- Responsible for building tax policy relationships and establishing good interaction between tax authorities and business.
Responsibility 4: Pricing control
- Pricing control, including market analysis and competitor analysis for pricing models, as well as cost estimation and assessment of prices to ensure the competitiveness and profitability of the model prices.
Responsibility 5: Team management
- Responsible for building finance team, including position setup, capability development, and team development in different levels.
Responsibility 6: Business support and external connection
- Provide assistance to stakeholders (including clients, creditors, etc.) as needed. Communicate with tax authorities, banks, and other institutions.
Other tasks assigned by the manager.
Required skills, qualifications and experience
- MBO or HBO education in finance, accounting, economics or another related area;
- 2-3 years of working experience in a similar role;
- Knowledge and understanding of corporate finance functions and procedures;
- Advanced spoken and written English. Being able to speak Chinese is a plus.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint);
- SAP user experience will be an asset;
- Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills;
- Detail oriented and good with analyzing large data.
- Able to work under pressure and handle multi-tasks;
