Finance Manager, Turkey
About the role:
In the initial phase, you will support the set-up of finance related procedures. In the long run, you will organize and perform our company’s day-to-day finance related procedures. You need to maintain records for all transactions, prepare weekly invoice submissions and process reimbursements. You will have the opportunity to contribute and expand your finance knowledge and be a part of fast-growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the set-up of financial procedures in the areas of invoicing, accounting, tax, etc.
2. Manage accounts receivable and payable.
3. Monitor daily transactions and bank reconciliations.
4. Reconcile accounts with customers and clear customer balances in a timely manner, and send reminders to customers regularly.
5. Stay current with financial and tax policies, providing timely responses and swift solutions;
6. Monitor monetary policies and financial environment in real-time, conduct effective foreign exchange management to ensure compliance while maximizing returns;
7. Oversee company's financing and investment operations and risk management, specifically including financial resource development, competitive analysis, and the formulation and execution of financing strategies.
8. Review and process reimbursements.
9. Issue the sales invoices, credit notes, quotations, and PO.
10. Keep records of the invoices and tax payments.
11. Identify and address account discrepancies.
12. Process employee travel expenses and explain reimbursement routines.
13. Match invoices to statements and purchase orders to invoices.
14. Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy.
15. Assist in the production of financial statements and applications, preparation of spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence as required.
16. Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets.
17. Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct.
18. Answers questions and provides assistance to stakeholders, customers and clients as needed.
19. Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.
20. Participate in reviewing finance related policies and procedures in line the principle of HQ.
21. Support to handle parts of audit report if required.
Required skills, qualifications and experience
1. Education background in finance, accounting, economics or another related area.
2. 3+ years of working experience in a similar role.
3. Knowledge and understanding of corporate finance functions and procedures.
4. Advanced spoken and written English and Turkish language skills, Chinese language is a plus
5. Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions).
6. SAP user experience will be an asset.
7. Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
8. Detail oriented and good with analyzing large data.
