The Marketing Department within BYD Europe is responsible for developing and implementing tailored marketing strategies specific to the European region and creating comprehensive plans that resonate with the European target audience. Our team works collaboratively to optimize brand visibility, increase market share, and drive business growth within the European market.
Your Role
In your role as the Marketing Manager (DENZA Brand) in Benelux Team, you will have the opportunity to launch BYD Group’s premium brand DENZA in the Benelux market. You will be responsible for developing and executing each country's marketing plan in alignment with business objectives and global strategies. Key responsibilities include leading national events, managing advertising and digital campaigns, supervising dealer marketing and PR activities, and steering the marketing budget.
The role requires a customer-oriented mindset, excellent digital and communication skills, and a strong ability to prioritize and innovate. You will collaborate with the European PR/Events team and local dealers, and foster relationships with digital media and social influencers to ensure brand visibility and success.
You will report directly to the Country Manager Benelux, with a dotted line to the European PR & Marketing Director.
Location: Hoofddorp, the Netherlands
Your Tasks
From 0-1 develop and execute the Country Marketing Plan aligning with business objectives and Global Marketing Strategic Guidelines, incorporating competitor analysis and insights. Regularly gather and analyze customer feedback and market trends to inform marketing strategies.
- Plan, execute, and conduct post-national event analysis to understand the effectiveness of actions and improve future initiatives.
- Manage Advertising and Digital Campaigns: Coordinate with marketing teams in Europe and China to ensure the quality and lead time of digital assets for local and regional campaigns with local partners and agencies. Frequently check local dealership websites, signage, and any marketing materials to ensure they are up to date and in compliance with DENZA CI/VI policy.
- Supervise regional marketing and PR Activities: Monitor regional marketing plans, manage local advertising and PR campaigns, and ensure brand visibility through media and digital influencers.
- Steer Marketing Budget and Collaborate with PR and Events Team to ensure effective budget management, supervise relations with press and media, and support European PR and Events team activities in the local market.
- Engage with digital media and SoMe influencers and ensure the brand and product stories are well-represented. Stay ahead of marketing trends and incorporate innovative strategies to maintain brand relevance and competitiveness.
- Provide Strategic Inputs and Support for European Marketing Plan: Offer valuable insights for the European Marketing Plan and actively engage in European events or activities as needed. Work closely with the sales team to ensure marketing activities are aligned with sales goals and support lead generation and conversion.

Establish effective communication mechanisms between the European Marketing Department, Benelux Team, and Local Dealership Partners.

- Measure the impact and return on investment (ROI) of national and local events.
- Track reach, engagement, and conversions of advertising and digital campaigns.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of dealership marketing plans and their contribution to sales.
- Efficiently allocate and manage the marketing budget.
- Increase brand visibility and influence through media and social channels.
You have
- Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, advertising, business management, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience with a proven track record of success in automotive Corporate or Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Agency Services, and/or Marketing Operations.
- Fluency in English and Dutch or French is necessary; Chinese language proficiency would be a plus.
- In-depth knowledge and passion about the European automotive industry's history, brands, products, and technologies.
- Self-motivated and able to work in a rapidly developing, dynamic environment and partner effectively with cross-border/cultural teams.
- Excellent coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of positive influence in teams.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, maintaining close connections with partners and BYD Europe HQ.
