Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced HS code Classification Specialist to join our team in Manisa. As a professional Customs staff, you will responsible for HS code Classification of our Turkish company.

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for the Customs HS code classification of Company's materials:

• Handle the classification and identification work of passenger car factories - provide EU HS code classification opinions and confirmation of prohibition and restriction conditions based on material information;
• Responsible for providing technical support for customs material HS code classification, including providing corresponding classification situation explanations when receiving customs classification challenge.
• Ability to use English as the main working language;
• Well-experience on HS code classification. Have a deep understanding of EU classification rules, and need to take HS code classification ability test (including classification situation description) as a part of interview;
• 2 years or more of HS code classification experience (including but not limited to the EU and Turkey)

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above;
• 5 years or more of HS code classification experience (including but not limited to the EU and Turkey); those with customs expert certificates are preferred;
• Ability to use English as the main working language;
• Well-experience on HS code classification. Have a deep understanding of EU classification rules;
• Have a deep understanding of import control policies and restrictive document regulations, and those with a manufacturing industry foundation are preferred.
