Business Analyst
About the Department:
The Parts Inventory & Logistics department is responsible for taking care of the inbound of Spare parts imported from HQ and part of the outbound/Cross trade LTL/FTL/Express shipment. The Department is also responsible for implementation of the effective goods movement, coordination and to be sure that the shipment is arranged in efficient and cost competitive manners.
As Business Analyst you will:
- Internal and External Coordination: Liaise with internal departments such as planning, warehousing, and logistics; interface with external departments including finance, commerce, and headquarters to collect operational data and generate reports.
- Data Monitoring System: Establish and regularly update the data monitoring system for the spare parts storage and transportation departments’ business analysis.
- Regular Analysis: Conduct regular analysis based on various business data, clarify cost/revenue sources and elements, identify trends and issues, propose improvement suggestions to optimize operational efficiency, and assist in cost reduction and efficiency enhancement across business modules.
- Budget Planning and Review: Assist in formulating monthly/quarterly/annual business planning budgets, conduct periodic reviews and adjustments to ensure expenditures remain within controllable limits.
- System Maintenance and Optimization: Responsible for maintaining and optimizing cost-related projects in the storage and transport management systems, participate in the development and upgrade of information systems to ensure data accuracy and system stability, thereby improving the accuracy and efficiency of data processing and analysis.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting, statistics, or related fields; At least 5 years of working experience, with over 1 year of work experience in logistics or supply chain management. Automotive spare parts industry background is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, BI; SQL skills are a plus.
- Experience: Some experience in data analysis and cost control.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, capable of independently completing business analysis reports.
- Communication and Coordination Skills: Good communication and coordination skills, able to effectively collaborate with different departments to drive project implementation.
- Expression Skills: Strong written and verbal expression abilities, capable of clearly conveying analysis results and suggestions.
- Work Ethic: Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and execution ability; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Language Proficiency: Proficient in English and Chinese as working languages.
