About the role

We are looking for a new colleague with enthusiasm for numbers and invoicing. You have a structured and accurate way of working. Responsibilities:

1. Independently responsible for monthly financial closing in SAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness of ledgers, generating financial statements and internal management reports on time.
2. Verify and post purchase invoices in SAP, ensuring compliance and accuracy; manage accounts payable and receivable to maintain timely and reliable financial records and healthy cash flow.
3. Create and manage fixed asset records in SAP, including asset creation, transfer, and disposal, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance with company policies.
4. Issue Hungarian VAT invoices and upload to the bank system for inventory financing; reconcile bank transactions and clear accounts receivable; monitor dealer credit terms and proactively manage credit risks. (Hungarian language proficiency is a strong asset.)
5. Take ownership of budgeting and expense control, including reimbursement review and processing of related accounting entries, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.
6. Support the development and execution of retail financing schemes and other financial projects with banks, including financial data preparation and project coordination.
7. Communicate with external accounting firms by providing all necessary documentation (AP/AR invoices, payment records, clearing statements), ensuring accurate and synchronized financial data.
8. Prepare and coordinate documentation for annual and special audits, respond to auditor inquiries, and ensure audit processes are compliant and smooth.
9. Process employee travel expense claims, assist in explaining reimbursement policies, and ensure timely and compliant processing.
10. Match invoices with purchase orders and statements, enter accounting data into the system accurately and efficiently.
11. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, spreadsheets, and other financial documents as needed.
12. Support end-of-year financial procedures and assist in closing activities.
13. Contribute to the development, testing, and implementation of new finance tools, products, and internal processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
14. Provide data collection and entry for financial spreadsheets and internal analyses; review and audit financial statements to ensure data integrity.
15. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners, providing financial insights and support, and suggesting improvements to enhance accuracy and reduce costs.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:

1. Bachelor or Master education in finance, accounting, economics or another related area.
2. 1-3 years of working experience in a similar role.
3. Basic knowledge and understanding of corporate finance functions and procedures.
4. Advanced spoken and written Hungarian and English language skills. Chinese language will be an asset.
5. Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions).
6. SAP user experience will be an asset.
7. Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
8. Detail oriented and good with analyzing large data.
