Logistics and Warehousing Services Procurement Specialist | Finland

About the role:
The Logistics and Warehousing Services Procurement Specialist will manage the procurement of logistics and warehousing services across Europe. You will ensure that all procurement activities are aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements while meeting the specific needs of the European market. Your role will involve developing and maintaining relationships with logistics and warehousing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the efficient execution of procurement processes.
Responsibilities:
- Procurement Process Management:
- Design, implement, and optimize procurement processes for logistics and warehousing services, including demand collection, supplier selection, contract management, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with headquarters' policies and local regulations while adapting to the unique demands of the European market.
- Identify and develop high-quality suppliers for logistics and warehousing services.
Conduct supplier audits, negotiate contracts, and manage ongoing supplier relationships. - Monitor supplier performance and ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage contract execution to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Handle contract changes and disputes, ensuring smooth contract fulfillment.
Execute procurement activities, including supplier selection, price comparison, order management, and service quality assessment. - Optimize procurement costs and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and warehousing procurement.
- Conduct spend analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
Your profile:
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the logistics or warehousing sector.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Fluent in English and Finnish; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel) and experience with procurement platforms.
