About the department:

The Marketing Department within BYD UK is responsible for developing and implementing tailored marketing strategies specific to drive UK performance and deliver results that drive business objectives. Our team works collaboratively to optimize brand visibility, increase market share, and drive business growth within the UK market.

The Person:

This role will be focused on leading planning and delivery of search and performance max campaigns for BYD UK. The search specialist will deliver on planning, set up, delivery or programmatic media campaigns, including optimisation and leading on trading. The role will include planning campaigns, delivering media plans, strategic recommendations and identifying innovation opportunities. The team is responsible for both Brand, Performance and Tactical campaigns.

The Role:

Key objectives and responsibilities:

• Implementing and optimising Paid Search campaigns
• Running PMAX and YT campaigns
• Own day to day testing and optimisation
• Communicate with the global team
• Managing communications with various client stakeholders
• Look strategically at our media plans
• Work with google to ensure latest best practice is in place

Key results:

• Web traffic and leads driven by media campaigns
• Increasing engagement and performance of media campaigns
• Improving brand awareness and image of BYD in the UK

Your profile:

• University Degree in Marketing, Sales, or commercial disciplines.
• Effective and fluent communicator in English
• Excellent Microsoft office skills.
• Experience in programmatic media planning and execution search and performance max campaigns.
• Knowledge of current digital media landscape and ability to optimize performance campaigns –
• Customer-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
• Resilient and open minded.
• Results oriented. Ability to work to deadlines, hands on approach, motivated to get results.
