Event Specialist

Job Summary:
The Event Specialist will be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution with the Senior Events Manager Europe, of high-impact Paneuropean events including corporate functions, product launches, test drives, trade shows, and community engagement initiatives. This role requires a high level of travel (70% or more) and close collaboration with internal departments and external vendors to ensure all events align with brand objectives and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, execute and support events such as corporate functions, vehicle launches, test-drive campaigns, trade shows, and outreach initiatives.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., product, sales, PR, design) and external partners (e.g., venues, agencies, contractors).
Manage event budgets, timelines, and KPIs from planning through execution.
Ensure consistent brand representation in messaging and visuals across all event elements.
Handle event logistics: registration, transportation, site setup, technical support, staffing, and post-event debrief.
Source and manage event-related materials (vehicles signage, displays, giveaways, etc.).
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities; propose innovative and engaging event formats.
Analyze event outcomes and generate performance reports with recommendations.
Travel extensively (70%+), including evenings/weekends, for on-site event execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
Equivalent experience in the events or experiential marketing sector may substitute for formal education.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in event planning or experiential marketing; automotive industry experience preferred.
Strong multitasking and project management capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
Proficiency with general software: Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook and general services.
High willingness and ability to travel frequently (70%+).
Fluency in English is required; additional European languages or Chinese are a plus.
