Training Operation Specialist
About the department:
The BYD After Sales Service Center manages service and maintenance for our fully electric vehicles across Europe. Key responsibilities include building a robust after-sales service network, providing technical support, calculating Life Cycle Costs to assist sales, expanding the spare parts business, and delivering training programs. Focused on ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty, we are now looking for a Training Operation Specialist for the After-sales Training Section. This role will be vital in organizing after-sales training and supporting training executives and engineers in delivering training to service providers and customers.
As Training Operation Specialist you will:
Administrative Support:
- Developing curriculum and coordinate with trainers and subject matter experts.
- Manage trainees’ registrations and maintain training records.
- Handle logistics such as booking venues and arranging necessary equipment.
- Preparation the training requirements such as cars, tools, equipment, part, classroom equipment’s, booklet, etc.
- Maintain up-to-date training calendars and communicate schedules across departments.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and audit requirements relating to training documentation.
- Support budget tracking for training activities, including cost estimation and invoice processing.
Program operations and training execution:
- Scheduling and coordination of training sessions, workshops, and other educational activities.
- Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and multimedia aids.
- Ensure that training programs meet the needs and organizational goals.
- Participate to receipt and great the trainees at the beginning of training.
- Coordinate with external vendors, trainers and partners when needed.
- Monitor the readiness of training facilities, equipment and digital learning tools before each session.
- Provide operational support during live streaming or virtual training sessions.
Evaluation and Improvement:
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
- Implement improvements based on evaluations to enhance training quality.
- Track employee skill development and retention rates.
- Conduct post-training evaluation reviews and summarize key improvement actions.
- Benchmark training practices against industry standards to ensure continuous improvement.
Collaboration:
- Support the development and execution of new training initiatives.
- Act as a resource for trainers and trainees, providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align training operations with business objectives.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure smooth training delivery and follow-up.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Collecting and gathering the training delivery data and reporting across he team.
- Managing/Organizing training sessions/courses with administration of Learning Management System (LMS)
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Management, or in a Technical filed (Electrical, Mechanic or any other related filed), or a related field is often preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience with at least 2 years of experience in training and development, with a focus on technical training.
- Driving License.
- Organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in learning management systems and other training software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports on training effectiveness.
- Fluency in English. One other language is required (German, French, Spanish, Polish), at the level of B2 or above.
- Microsoft Word, Excel. High level of Power Point creating skills.
Having below skills would be advantage for the candidate:
- Chinese language.
- Automotive technical knowledge.
- Familiar with generalities of any LMS system.
- Electrical or mechanical skill as technician.
- Having previous experiences and skills in the live streaming, audio, visual operation could be an asset.
