Job Functions 

As a PDI Engineer, you will be committed to vehicle pre-sales quality assurance. You will be in charge of logistics quality, visiting the compounds to monitor the PDI performance, and inspecting the vehicles for double-checking if necessary. You will also be responsible for pre-sales technical project upgrades and act as the main interface between the logistics team and the PQE team to ensure the execution of technical project upgrades before the vehicles are delivered to the dealers. Additionally, you will support COC (Certificate of Conformity) creation if needed.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Driving the improvement of whole pre-sales quality, especially the issues found by the dealers when they receive vehicles.

• Conduct inspections of finished vehicles during storage, handling, and dispatch to monitor quality performance and ensure compliance with standards.

• Monitor and analyze quality data from compounds, driving continuous improvement in pre-sales vehicle quality.

• Double-check PDI performance through on-site visits and inspections, ensuring corrective actions are implemented where necessary.

• Lead vehicle evaluation activities, organize regular review and improvement meetings, and coordinate cross-functional problem-solving initiatives.

• Provide support in resolving vehicle issues identified on the production line

• Support COC (Certificate of Conformity) creation if needed.

Your profile:
1. More than 1 year of relevant work experience in quality control, preferably in the automotive industry.

2. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive issue closure.

3. Data monitoring and analysis capabilities to drive continuous improvement.

4. Excellent coordination and communication skills to collaborate across departments.

5 Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hungarian.
