About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspection Supervisor to join our final assembly inspection team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive quality checks on finished vehicles to ensure they meet all safety, regulatory, and company standards before delivery. Your work will play a critical role in safeguarding the quality and reputation of our brand.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Conduct final inspections on completed vehicles, including exterior, interior, functional, and system-level checks

• Operate diagnostic tools and measurement equipment to test vehicle performance and functionality

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to report issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions
  
  

Your profile:

• More than 1 year of relevant work experience in quality inspection, preferably in the automotive industry.
• High school diploma or above; technical diploma or degree in Automotive engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and manufacturing standards.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hungarian.
