About BYD Auto Hungary
On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.
BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic Electrical engineer to our Auto Parts Division.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the acceptance, installation, and commissioning of equipment in the region.
Organize and manage equipment operation and maintenance, promoting the implementation of TPM practices.
Provide on-site technical support for equipment, and coordinate rapid recovery from equipment failures.
Analyze and summarize equipment failures, and develop appropriate countermeasures.
Organize and participate in departmental and plant-wide meetings.
Edit, review, and revise departmental documents.
Manage, guide, and train regional maintenance technicians.
Handle the procurement and management of spare parts and other non-production materials in the region.
Drive on-site equipment improvements and efficiency enhancements.
Complete other tasks assigned by management in a timely manner.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
Over 3 years of professional experience.
Proficient in mainstream PLC technologies (e.g., Siemens, Omron, Huichuan, AB), with experience in at least two PLC projects and the ability to independently complete programming tasks.
Skilled in TPM methodology, capable of independently implementing TPM initiatives and establishing standardized, modular management elements.
Able to diagnose and resolve electrical faults, and lead a team in solving electrical and related equipment issues.
Familiar with automotive equipment technologies such as chassis, air conditioning, and multimedia systems, with expertise in 3–5 key pieces of equipment.
Experience (0–1 year) in new plant construction, equipment development, and project introduction.
Proficient in using engineering tools for analysis, such as 8D, FMEA, PDCA, etc.
Knowledgeable in spare parts management.
Familiar with factory operations, product-related processes, and equipment principles, with demonstrated on-site improvement and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, conscientious and responsible work attitude.
Proficient in English and Hungarian; candidates fluent in Chinese are preferred. For those with work experience using English and Hungarian professionally, other requirements may be flexible.
