About the role:
As a Remarketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the vehicle remarketing process, forecasting and managing residual values and being main contact person for the rental channel. You will develop and implement strategies for used vehicles through various sales channels, contributing significantly to the brand’s value retention and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and expand the customer portfolio by acquiring new rental clients, strengthening the brand proposition, and establishing commercial frameworks.
Negotiate volumes, model mix, and discount structures in line with BYD Europe’s objectives.
Setting up full cycle remarketing process from in-fleet to de-fleet of rental vehicles including but not limited to setting up compound, appraisal process, repairments and reselling.
Maintain strong and collaborative relationships with the BYD dealer network including developing policies, procedures and frameworks related to in-fleet and de-fleet of rental vehicles.
Develop and implement premium used car label.
Analyze market trends and define measures to enhance residual values
Support the development and enhancement of digital remarketing tools and platforms.
Define a commercial strategy that contributes positively to the residual value of the vehicle and remarketing and used car business case.
Manage and optimize vehicle resale processes across different distribution channels.
Define a regional strategy to improve the trade-in and use this strategy to benefit the business case.
Develop, monitor and keep up to date a remarketing system.
Analyze data and prepare reports
Ensure accurate and up-to-date contract and administration.
Work proactively with internal departments (including marketing, operations, and aftersales) to fully meet customer needs.
Your Profile:
Degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, Marketing, or a related field
Previous experience in the automotive sector, preferably in sales, fleet management, or remarketing. At least 3 years of Remarketing and Used Car experience.
Strong analytical skills and an understanding of market dynamics in the used car industry
Excellent negotiation and communication skills when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
Experience in remarketing process.
Excellent Dutch and English language skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and independent working approach
