Your Mission

We are looking for a Product Specialist to join our Passenger Car team in Spain. This position will play an important role in shaping the company´s Product offering in the local market. It is an exciting time to join the team, and you will be integral in helping us to establish ourselves in the market.

You will use your knowledge and experience to help identify opportunities for growth and profitability. You will become an expert in our Products and a passionate ambassador of our Brand.

Reporting to the Product Localization Owner, you will help build a business plan for our future models and rapidly deploy new vehicles. You will get to work across multiple areas of the business, meet dealerships and external partners.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Responsible for the positioning and launch of relevant BYD models.

• Work closely with BYD HQ and EU team; creating product and pricing proposals and managing feedback.

• Market and competitors analysis.

• Ensure availability and accuracy of all appropriate product data sources (including technical data) and price lists to Retailers, including both internal and customer-facing materials and sources.

• Provides ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by line manager.

• Responsible for refining product USP.

• Product event management coordination and support the test drive of marketing activities.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree or above.

• Similar experience in Automotive industry, OEM experience is a must (5+ years).

• Strong organization skills with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Numerical and analytical with demonstrable attention to detail.

• High level of attention to detail, analytical approach with process orientation.

• Ability to work on own initiative, demonstrating “ownership” while being a team player.

• Excellent communication, written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.
