Sales Assistant
Location: Poland
The Sales Assistant is responsible for back office work and coordinates various business requests for regional markets. The Sales Assistant works cross functionally and closely supports the Regional Sales Manager.
The Sales Assistant is part of the sales department and reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
As a Sales Assistant, you will:
Closely support Sales Order and Tender Offer preparation by identifying customer requirements and securing solutions, for example, product technical specifications, pricing.
Responsibilities:
· Collect market information via various sources and channels and identify possible clients and market opportunities;
· Work closely with the product line/sales manager about customer’s requirements, product specifications and developments;
· Promote BYD’s EV products to target clients with unique selling points using necessary selling tools/equipment (including preparing and bidding for tenders);
· Issue monthly reports to the sales manager about the progress of sales/projects/orders and problems with proposed solutions;
· Quarterly review sales targets’ realization with the Sales Manager and adjust sales targets when deemed necessary;
· Review and/or process invoices;
· Coordinate the internal department to invoice the bus orders to clients and track the payment collection status;
· Support the Sales Manager for the sales pipeline monthly updating and record the latest projects (tenders/orders, deliveries) figures;
· Keep the agenda for the Sales Manager;
· Follow the determined processes, safety and environmental instructions;
· Report improvement opportunities in the organization, processes and incidents via an improvement note;
· Other related activities and contingent assignments.
Required skills, qualifications and experience:
1-3 years of relevant work experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Engineering preferred.
Excellent English language skills, Chinese or Swedish language skills will be an advantage.
Advanced WORD, EXCEL, PPT skills.
Strong interest in business and electrical vehicles.
Fast learner, with enthusiasm to learn the new technical knowledge of the bus.
Able to multitask and handle various urgent issues.
