Paid Media Graphic Design Specialist
About the department:
The Marketing Department within BYD UK is responsible for developing and implementing tailored marketing strategies specific to the UK region, and create comprehensive plans that resonate with the European target audience. Our team works collaboratively to optimize brand visibility, increase market share, and drive business growth within the UK market.
Role Overview:
The Paid Media Graphic Designer is responsible for creating, adapting, and delivering high-quality visual assets to support paid media activity across all channels. As part of the Content team at BYD UK, this role plays a key part in enabling the delivery of impactful, performance-driven campaigns across the full model range.
Working in close collaboration with the Paid Media Content Specialist and Paid Media Lead, the role supports the execution of all paid media activity, including always-on campaigns, product launches, and sales events.
With a strong understanding of paid media formats and placements, the Paid Media Graphic Designer contributes to the application of best practice across channels when required. Operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, the role requires an agile, detail-oriented, and delivery-focused approach, responding efficiently to briefs from the Paid Media team.
Responsibilities :
· Paid Media Asset Delivery :
Design, adapt, and deliver creative assets for always-on paid media campaigns, product launches, and sales event activity across the full model range
Support the Paid Media Content Specialist and Paid Media Lead in executing campaign deliverables across all paid media touchpoints.
Deliver assets within tight deadlines, managing fast turnaround requirements while maintaining quality and accuracy.
· Creative Adaptation & Production :
Work from approved Key Visuals (KVs) provided or approved by the Content Lead, adapting them into channel-specific assets for product launch campaigns and paid media activity.
Resize, reformat, and localise creative to meet platform specifications and best practices.
Ensure consistency of visual identity and messaging across all formats and channels.
Collaborate on high-quality photography production to maintain brand visual standards across all platforms.
· Multi-Channel Execution :
Produce and adapt assets across all paid media channels, and ensure all deliverables meet platform-specific technical requirements and best practice, including but not limited to:
Google PMAX, Demand Gen (responsive/display elements where applicable), Social (Meta, TikTok)
Display (standard and rich media formats, Digital Out of Home (DOOH)
CTV assets (pause ads, fire tv etc)
Auto publisher platforms – Social, Display etc. Sponsorships and branded placements, Partnerships
· Collaboration :
Work closely with the Paid Media Content Specialist, Paid Media Lead, and wider marketing teams to ensure alignment on campaign objectives and delivery timelines.
Collaborate with the Content Lead to ensure all outputs align with approved creative direction and BYD brand guidelines.
Maintain clear communication across stakeholders to support efficient workflow and delivery.
· Organization & Delivery Management :
Manage multiple work streams and project deliveries simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
Maintain structured file management, naming conventions, and version control across all assets.
Ensure all deliverables are accurate, approved, and ready for deployment.
Operate effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment, responding quickly to feedback, amends, and evolving campaign requirements.
Proactively manage workload to support overlapping campaigns and high-volume delivery.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 4 to 5 years experiences
· Strong graphic design and editing skills across digital formats
· Experience working on paid media campaigns or within high-volume content production environments
· Solid understanding of paid media formats, placements, and platform specifications
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
· Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and fast turnaround timelines
· Agile and adaptable, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
· Strong collaboration and communication skills
· High attention to detail and commitment to quality
