Warehouse Logistic Specialist
The Commercial Vehicle Spare Parts department at BYD Europe oversees all spare parts management for our fully electric buses and e-trucks, delivering dedicated support to our After-Sales operations. To ensure reliable and efficient service for customers across Europe, our spare parts inventory is strategically stocked at our warehouse in the Netherlands. We are now seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Logistics Specialist to join our team and maintain optimal inventory control and logistics performance.
Job Overview
As a Warehouse Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, reconciling system data with physical stock, and driving continuous improvement in inventory control processes. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring high inventory accuracy, supporting efficient warehouse operations, and aligning with the company’s financial policies.
Our spare parts warehouse in the Netherlands is strategically located to deliver timely support to our customers, and your role will be critical in keeping inventory under control and optimizing stock management.
Key Job Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end outbound distribution of spare parts to customers throughout Europe.
Conduct contract negotiations with logistics carriers for all outgoing shipments.
Collaborate closely with the procurement team to draft, review, and finalize logistics service contracts.
Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure compliance with signed agreements by logistics suppliers.
Research and implement improvement opportunities to enhance delivery reliability, efficiency, and service quality.
Work closely with the Outbound Administrator to streamline daily outbound processes.
Follow up on delivery discrepancies, damaged goods, and on-time delivery performance.
Identify operational pain points and propose practical, data-driven improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Fluent in English, with strong proficiency in both daily communication and professional reporting.
Advanced skills in MS Excel or other spreadsheet software, with solid capabilities in data analysis and report generation.
Meticulous and responsible in maintaining accurate business contacts and supplier records.
Ability to analyze logistics data, identify trends, patterns, and root causes of operational issues.
Education level at MBO+ or HBO.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Minimum 3 years of professional working experience in logistics and transportation.
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong sense of responsibility.
