About the role: Ensure E-truck and E-Bus products in the MEA can successfully launch and meet customer and MEA markets' requirements.

Reports to: Product Management Section Manager.

Your key responsibilities will be:

· Conduct in-depth analysis of technical features and functions of MEA commercial vehicles, supporting the development of new BYD commercial vehicle products and related technologies.

· Monitor and interpret MEA regulations and standards, translating them into clear product requirements and implementation guidelines.

· Identify and analyze customer needs and application scenarios, and develop feasible technical solutions accordingly.

· Formulate and drive localized product strategies for BYD commercial vehicles in the MEA market.

· Participate in product design reviews, presenting proposals and evaluating alternative technical solutions with cross-functional teams.

· Develop and implement localization solutions tailored to MEA operational environments and customer expectations.

· Evaluate new technologies, system solutions, and product concepts, supporting new product development and lifecycle management.

· Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis for commercial vehicle products in the MEA region.

Main duties:

Define and manage key product KPIs and technical targets for MEA commercial vehicles.

Ensure product compliance with local regulations and market requirements; escalate risks or non-compliance issues to management in a timely manner.

Support decision-making throughout the product lifecycle, from concept definition to market introduction.

Requirements & Competencies：

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or related fields preferred).

· Minimum 3 years of experience in Engineering or Product Management（internship also counts）, preferably in commercial vehicles, automotive, or new energy sectors.

· Familiarity with MEA market characteristics and regulatory environment is a plus.

· Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.

· Ability to operate in a global development environment, coordinating across R&D, production, and commercial teams.

· Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving skills, and sound technical judgment.

· Fluent in English (spoken and written); Chinese is a plus.

· Willingness to travel across the MEA region as required.
