Key Account Specialist
About the Department:
The Key Account department is responsible for prospecting and maintaining international and national fleet customers. In addition, collecting market information and supporting country managers and local Key Account team in approaching local fleet customers.
About the role:
This role is primarily responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key accounts within the assigned area. It involves understanding the specific needs and requirements of each account and developing strategic plans to maximize sales and profitability. The role will work closely with the Sales and Key Account Manager to drive the development of the local fleet business in Slovenia, while also collecting and analyzing market data to support business growth.
1. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients.
Serve as the key point of contact in operational level towards key account customer under the supervision of Sales and key account manager, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
2.Account Growth and Retention:
Develop strategies to grow revenue and expand business opportunities within assigned key accounts.
Implement retention initiatives to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
3.Needs Assessment and Solution Selling:
Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the unique requirements of each key account.
Present customized solutions that align with client goals and objectives.
4. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with internal departments, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure the seamless delivery of products/services to key accounts.
Communicate client feedback and requirements to relevant teams for continuous improvement.
5. Contract Negotiation:
Lead negotiations for contract renewals, expansions, and new agreements.
Ensure that contractual terms and conditions align with both company policies and client expectations.
6. Forecasting and Reporting:
Collaborate with the sales team to forecast revenue and track progress against established goals.
Generate regular reports on key account performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
7. Problem Resolution:
Proactively address and resolve issues that may arise during the course of the client relationship.
Escalate complex issues to appropriate stakeholders and ensure timely resolution.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in key account management within the automotive industry, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
In-depth knowledge of the automotive sector, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
Proven ability to drive revenue growth, meet targets, and ensure client satisfaction.
Project management skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
