About the role:
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate customers in the Dutch market, including large fleet operators, rental companies, and leasing companies. You will represent the full BYD portfolio and ensure close collaboration and alignment with the BYD dealer network. In this role, you will actively provide BYD with market feedback regarding customer needs, commercial opportunities, and growth potential.
You know how to attract new customers while developing sustainable long-term partnerships. With your solid experience in fleet sales, combined with a strong network within the automotive sector, you are capable of securing agreements that contribute to robust fleet operations for corporate clients. This position is well suited to an entrepreneurial and results-driven professional who thrives in a dynamic scale-up environment with ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and expand the customer portfolio by acquiring new fleet clients, strengthening the brand proposition, and establishing commercial frameworks.
Negotiate volumes, model mix, and discount structures in line with BYD Europe’s objectives.
Prepare quotations and calculate margins, including the design of bonus and incentive programs.
Develop and execute sales activities across fleet, leasing, and rental channels to increase market share.
Maintain strong and collaborative relationships with the BYD dealer network.
Translate and implement European framework agreements in the Dutch market, in close cooperation with the European KAM team.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date contract and sales administration.
Work proactively with internal departments (including marketing, operations, and aftersales) to fully meet customer needs.
Your Profile:
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
Proven experience and success in a commercial role within the automotive sector.
Strong negotiation skills and excellent numerical and analytical ability.
A well-established and relevant professional network within the automotive industry.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
Excellent command of Dutch and professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Independent, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented, with the drive to make an impact in a fast-growing environment.
