Bodyshop Network Specialist – Norway & Iceland
About the role
We are looking for a Bodyshop Network Specialist to help establish and manage an approved BYD bodyshop network across Norway and Iceland. Working closely with the Country Aftersales Manager and BYD's central teams, you will recruit and onboard repairers, implement one common BYD standard for accident repairs, and follow up quality, genuine parts usage and customer satisfaction (NPS) across the network. This is a hands-on role with real influence, the network does not exist yet, and you will be central to building it.
What you will do
Network establishment
• Identify and assess potential bodyshop partners in Norway and Iceland, within the BYD dealer network and among independent quality repairers
• Manage the approval and onboarding process such as applications, audits, agreements and certification, based on BYD's central framework
• Maintain network coverage overview and support market sizing and site prioritisation
One standard
• Implement the BYD bodyshop standard: repair methods, EV/high-voltage safety, ADAS calibration, equipment, training and facility requirements
• Carry out and coordinate approval audits and periodic re-audits, and follow up corrective actions
• Ensure repairers have access to BYD repair information, methods and training, in cooperation with central technical teams
Insurance and genuine parts
• Support relationships with insurers, claims handlers and damage assessors to position the approved network as the preferred repair channel
• Follow up genuine parts sales through the bodyshop channel and work to keep BYD vehicles within the BYD service and bodyshop network after an accident
Customer experience and NPS
• Monitor accident-repair NPS and customer feedback across the network – customer experience responsibility is fundamental to this role
• Follow up repairers on communication, lead times, repair quality and handover, and escalate with corrective action plans when the standard is not met
Central collaboration
• Work with BYD central and European teams on certification, standards, reporting and parts supply, adapting global requirements to local market conditions
Who you are
• Experience from the bodyshop, collision repair, insurance claims or automotive aftersales industry – for example as a workshop/bodyshop coordinator, damage assessor, claims handler or field role at an importer or repair chain
• Good understanding of body repair processes; knowledge of EV repair requirements is an advantage
• Structured and self-driven, comfortable following up KPIs, audits and action plans across many partners
• Good relationship builder who communicates well with repairer owners, insurers and central teams
• Fluent in Norwegian and English; willingness to travel regularly in Norway and Iceland
• Driving licence class B
What we offer
• The chance to help build a national bodyshop network from the start for one of the world's leading EV manufacturers
• Broad responsibility, short decision lines and close cooperation with BYD central expertise
• Good development opportunities in a fast-growing organisation, and competitive terms
