Customer Project Specialist
About the role:
The Customer Project Specialist - Commercial Vehicle, supports the successful coordination and delivery of customer projects following order placement. Working closely with customers and cross-functional teams, the role ensures projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Working location: Fully Office-based, Hounslow, London
Main Tasks and responsibilities:
Coordinate customer projects from order placement through to successful delivery.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, business reports and records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain project dashboards, reports and documentation, including meeting agendas, minutes and follow-up actions.
Monitor project progress, workstreams and key milestones, identifying risks and escalating issues where appropriate.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure project activities are completed in line with agreed timelines and business objectives.
Collect, analyse and report project data, KPIs and milestone updates to support project delivery.
Maintain accurate project information within internal systems and ensure records are kept up to date.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the business.
Ideal candidate profile:
Minimum 3 years' experience in project coordination, project delivery, customer service or a similar role.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
High attention to detail with strong administrative and reporting skills.
Ability to analyse information and prepare accurate reports.
Customer-focused with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Experience within the automotive, commercial vehicle, engineering or manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
