BYD Battery Box Sales Manager

About the Role
Dedicated to Renewable Energy for more than 25 years，BYD is Global Fortune 500 and a world-leading energy storage manufacturer. We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager based in South Africa to join our team. You will help grow our sales network in the South Africa and other Southern Africa markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and installers and strategic accounts.
2. Collect and analyze market information to support decision-making.
3. Train distributor and installer teams on products and technical knowledge.
4. Assist distributors in identifying and closing sales opportunities.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and improve products.
6. Adapt to cross-cultural collaboration and follow headquarters’ directives and proactively support and execute company channel sales policies.
Qualifications
1. A strong network of contacts within the renewable energy, especially for residential energy storage and small-scale C&I energy storage.
2. Strong technical knowledge of energy storage products, preferred technical sales or business development manager.
3. Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
5. Fluent in English ; Chinese is a plus.
6. At least 2 years of experience in sales and business development in the residential energy storage or small-scale C&I energy storage or Renewable Energy.
7. Can travel at any time as required by the company.
