About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Specialist to join our growing Finance team. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working with financial data, improving processes, and supporting business operations in a dynamic international environment.

As a Finance Specialist, you will play an active role in month-end and year-end closing activities, financial reporting, accounts payable processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will have the opportunity to broaden your expertise, collaborate with different stakeholders across the organization, and contribute to the development of efficient finance processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.

• Process and review employee expense claims in accordance with company policies.

• Review, verify, and post purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

• Perform invoice matching against purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.

• Participate in the preparation of statutory and management reports.

• Assist with external and internal audits by providing required documentation and explanations.

• Monitor outstanding payables and support cash flow management activities.

• Prepare and analyze financial data, reports, and reconciliations using Excel and SAP.

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and financial information.

• Cooperate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to resolve accounting-related issues.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency enhancements.

• Support implementation and testing of new finance systems, tools, and procedures.

• Provide guidance and support to junior team members when required.

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, accounts payable, or a similar role.

• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.

• Experience with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large volumes of financial data.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience will be considered a strong advantage.

• Professional proficiency in Polish and English, both written and spoken. Chinese language skills will be an asset.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
