Your Role
As the Regional Sales Excellence Lead-France, you will play a critical enabling role to ensure that our France customer facing teams are fully skilled and equipped to deliver consistently outstanding and meaningful customer experiences.
Our main goal: Empowering European sales teams at all levels with a focus on customer service and sales objectives. Embedded within the GTM (Go to Marketing) project team, deeply involved in all aspects of frontline sales, and promoting sales activities, sales empowerment, and other projects.
You will localize, optimize and deliver sales training materials and content that will ensure that our digital, retail and dealer-based sales teams have the necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors they will need to deliver excellence at every stage of our customer journey for passenger cars: from initial lead enquiry through to vehicle delivery and customer loyalty retention.
You will be expected to develop and execute high-quality and impactful sales training for each of our New Energy Vehicle (NEV) model available in Europe. The training will be delivered in-person or virtually online, as a result, this position requires a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively develop teams and individuals to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
In addition to the above, you will also assume the role of Regional Training Partner for France. These particular requires close coordination with the sales, network development, and relevant teams in the NSC.
You will be a member of the Customer Experience Department and report directly to the European Sales Excellence Manager.
You will do
- Adapt the EU Sales Excellence Master Plan (SEMP) and Certification Program to the particular needs of French market
- Deliver impactful, effective and efficient sales and product training sessions and content balancing digital, virtual and physical learning methods and approaches.
- Control of Database of market dealer staff in Learning Platforms and Tools in close collaboration with the Training Coordination Team
- Deliver and contribute to the development of the TMP, including BYD Group introduction, Brands insights, product knowledge, onboarding, sales and delivery skills, customer experience and training validation/certification.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders (Customer Experience, Content development, sales, network dev., marketing etc..) and subject matter experts to determine training needs and work quickly to identify, build and implement training solution based on SEMP.
- Track and record all training interventions conducted in market and provide monthly training reports in time as required to feed in to centralized Europe-wide reporting.
- Searching, control and advising of possible external agencies which may collaborate in the development / execution / consultancy.
- Provide ad-hoc performance coaching for teams and individual team members where necessary.
- Provide necessary support to French speaking area

You have
- Bachelor’s Degree in automotive, marketing or equivalent experiences.
- 3 years’ experience in a customer focused training/coaching team or organization.
- Customer-centric mindset, connected with our mission and a more sustainable future
- Excellent French and English language skills, (other European languages and/or Chinese would be a plus)
- Excellent coaching, training, communication and interpersonal skills with proven track record of positive influencing in teams.
- Familiar with digital tools such as Microsoft Office suite, Adobe creativity tools with ability to create/optimize digital/F2F contents to support SEMP.
- Ability to working in a rapid developing, dynamic environment and partner effectively with crossing border/cultural teams.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as required. Mainly in the retail network of France and regular visits to BYD European HQ.
