Business Support Specialist (Aftersales)
About the Department:
The European Commercial Vehicle After-Sales Service Department department within BYD Europe is responsible for all Service & Maintenance topics concerning our full electric buses and E-trucks. This includes but is not limited to, building up a service network in Europe, providing technical support to our customers and Service Providers, supporting the sales department by calculating Life Cycle Costs, delivering Spare Parts, and providing training. The main objective of the European Commercial Vehicle After-Sales Service Department is to contribute to Customer Satisfaction & loyalty.
You will be responsible for:
- Analyzing tender documentation, reviewing contractual terms and technical documents, setting deadlines, and maintaining the tender administration between different departments;
- Identify risks for the After Sales department resulting from tender requirements;
- Support other specialists in performing quotation calculations (life cycle cost calculations), data collection, and analysis;
- Communicate internally with Sales, tender, and finance team, prepare reports and arrange and attend project meetings;
- Strive to continuously improve the tender process;
- Obtain feedback from customers and colleagues to continuously improve our tender process;
- Periodically review ongoing tenders and summarize similarities and differences in customer requirements.
- Optimize pricing strategies based on product upgrades, technological advancements, competitor analysis, and cost analysis
Qualifications and requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of full-time working experience in a similar field;
- Works precise and eyes for details;
- Is good with numbers;
- Has experience in public tender processes in Europe;
- Take ownership and initiative of own work responsibility;
- Is able to perform under time pressure;
- Is a team player and can also work independently;
- Chinese speaking is considered as a plus.
- Is good in time management;
- Has good communication skills;
- An automotive engineering or related background is considered as a plus;
