Inventory Specialist
About the Department:
The Parts Inventory & Logistics department is responsible for taking care of the inbound of Spare parts imported from HQ and part of the outbound/Cross trade LTL/FTL/Express shipment. The Department is also responsible for implementation of the effective goods movement, coordination and to be sure that the shipment is arranged in efficient and cost competitive manners.
As Inventory Specialist you will:
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the warehouse team, order team, and planning team to establish an inventory synchronization mechanism based on a deep understanding of warehouse inbound and outbound business logic. Ensure consistency between physical inventory and systems like WMS/OMS/ERP and be responsible for the accuracy of automotive aftermarket parts inventory.
- Process Optimization: Participate in optimizing inventory management workflows and outputting corresponding system function requirements, as well as following up on implementation to improve work efficiency and accuracy.
- Exception Handling: Establish an inventory exception management mechanism, promptly identify and handle inventory anomalies, analyze causes, propose improvement plans, and ensure their execution.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or related fields. Over 1 year of experience in warehousing; experience in the automotive aftermarket parts field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with warehouse business logic and WMS system logic; SAP experience is a plus.
- Language Proficiency: Proficient in English and Chinese as working languages.
- System Proficiency: Skilled in using ERP systems and office software for data processing and analysis.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Good data analysis abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Work Ethic: Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and execution ability; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Communication and Teamwork: Good communication and coordination skills, and team spirit.
