About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and context-appropriate translation between English, Chinese, and Hungarian, both written and verbal.
• Support internal communication between departments involving Chinese and Hungarian-speaking staff.
• Translate HR, legal, technical, and operational documents as needed.
• Assist in meetings, trainings, and site visits as an interpreter.
• Ensure consistency in terminology and tone across all translated materials.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:

• Proficiency in English, Chinese (Mandarin), and Hungarian (both written and spoken).
• At least 2 years of proven translation/interpreting experience.
• Strong intercultural communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Attention to detail and high level of confidentiality.
