About the Job

The Store Designer

• Is a designer / architect and target-driven retail marketing professional.

• Will take full responsibility to make the EU dealerships follow the BYD store design C.I. (Corporate Identity) standard in accordance with BYD brand positioning and company culture.

• Will review, communicate and coordinate design proposals with dealers and local architects.

• Will report to the Store Design Leader BYD Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Interior- and exterior store design / architecture in 3D CAD.

• Review and coordinate design proposals from dealers architects, following the BYD C.I. guidelines to maintain Brand consistency.

• Responsible for all aspects of BYD store design C.I. including exterior and interior architecture, visual merchandising, window display, store events and sales campaigns.

• Create C.I. standards, routinely review and update content when needed.

• Monitor C.I. standards and store executions.

Key Results:

• Store design / Store design visualization in 3D CAD.

• C.I. standard communication / coordination and implementation.

Required skills, qualifications, and experience.

• Educational background: Interior Design, Architecture or Industrial Design.

• 3-8 years of working experience in retail design or interior design.

(Experience in the automotive industry is a plus).

• CAD: 3ds max, Sketchup, AutoCAD, high quality Rendering (or equivalent 3D CAD experience), Photoshop.

• Customer-oriented mindset.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.

• Resilient, open-minded and results driven.

• Excellent English language skills (other European or Chinese language would be a plus)
