About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Marketing Specialist to join our team in France. The Product Marketing Specialist will be mainly responsible for developing and executing product marketing plans for BYD France's new energy vehicle products, including conducting market analysis, defining target audiences, messaging, positioning, pricing and go-to-market strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead market analysis to understand competition, pricing dynamics, incentives, and trends in the European passenger car market, identifying opportunities impacting BYD France’s strategy.
Define and refine customer targeting and product positioning using market research and data insights.
Drive strategic pricing, product specifications, and offer structure for future vehicles.
Generate deep customer insights through research, surveys, and feedback analysis to understand needs and behaviors.
Transform technical product features into clear, compelling customer value propositions and product messaging.
Collaborate cross-functionally (product, PR & marketing, network development, sales) to deliver a cohesive product marketing strategy.
Lead go-to-market strategies, including positioning, messaging, and operational campaign execution.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to support data-driven decisions.
Support broader product initiatives and additional strategic projects as needed.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, business management or relating field.
At least 5 years of experience in product marketing and product management in the automotive industry. Success in bringing products to new market would be considered as a plus.
Excellent oral / written communication skill in French and English is mandatory.
Strong data collection and analytical skills, with the ability to extract and present critical insights.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across all technical teams and disciplines with people from a variety of international backgrounds.
Team player with a customer-centric, can-do, live-and-learn mindset.
