After-Sales Technical Support Engineer (Commercial vehicle)
Job description:We are seeking an experienced and proactive Overseas Technical Support Engineer to provide high-level technical after-sales support for our automotive products across international markets. This role plays a critical part in ensuring customer satisfaction by diagnosing product faults, delivering technical solutions, and enhancing global service standards. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of vehicle systems and have strong experience in overseas technical service operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical after-sales support and fault diagnosis guidance for automotive products to overseas customers, including dealers and service centers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during product use, either remotely or through on-site support when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing to support product improvement initiatives and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Prepare and maintain technical service documentation, including diagnostic guides, technical analysis reports, and troubleshooting manuals.
- Deliver regular technical training sessions to overseas customers, both online and on-site, to improve their diagnostic capabilities and service standards.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret failure data from overseas markets to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations for product and service improvement.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in automotive after-sales service, technical support, or quality-related roles; experience supporting overseas markets is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, including mechanical structures, electrical architecture, and diagnostic tools.
- Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with international clients, Chinese is plus.
- Practical, hands-on approach with strong independent problem-solving abilities; willingness to travel internationally for short-term assignments.
- High level of responsibility, with strong cross-cultural communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.
