About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic Facility Manager to join our Logistics Division.

Key Responsibilities:

     Management of Building Renovation and Decoration

1、Progress Control: Track the construction progress of modules like strong and weak electricity, access control, network, structure and fire protection, and coordinate all links for planned advancement.
2、Compliance Approval: Obtain the decoration permits required by the government and property (such as construction permits and fire protection approvals) to ensure the project's legality and compliance.
3、Construction Coordination: Solve issues such as cross-operation conflicts and site arrangements to ensure smooth construction.
4、Liaison with All Parties: Synchronize the decoration progress and requirements with relevant parties including the Chinese headquarters and suppliers to ensure information coordination.
Management of Building Power
1、Facility Maintenance: Formulate daily maintenance plans for facilities such as water, electricity, gas, air conditioning and elevators, and conduct regular maintenance for normal operation.
2、Fault Response: Promptly handle facility fault reports, organize repairs and track records to reduce operational impacts.
3、System Management: Coordinate the operation of power systems like power supply, water supply and air conditioning to ensure energy supply and environmental comfort.
4、Safety Control: Implement fire protection inspections and drills, supervise safety norms of maintenance operations, and prevent liability accidents.
5、Cost Optimization: Control the costs of power management and maintenance, manage the procurement of materials and equipment, and balance the budget and quality.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:

• Majors in mechatronics, safety engineering, etc. are preferred.

• Experience in power management of office buildings and industrial parks.
• Experience in team management and liaison with government departments.
• Working languages: Hungarian and English; Plus: Chinese
