The Marketing Department within BYD Europe is responsible for developing and implementing tailored marketing strategies specific to the European region, and create comprehensive plans that resonate with the European target audience. Our team works collaboratively to optimize brand visibility, increase market share, and drive business growth within the European market.
As Digital marketing specialist (web+email) you will:
The digital marketing team work at the intersection of technology, content, and customer engagement, continuously improving our digital touchpoints to optimize brand visibility, generate leads, and drive conversions.
As a Digital Marketing Specialist at the regional level, you will be at the forefront of crafting and executing web and email strategies that form the foundation of our digital experience. Your role will be instrumental in enhancing digital touchpoints, optimizing user engagement, and empowering local markets to achieve success in their respective countries. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic marketing insight, and stakeholder collaboration to drive performance across our digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Website management:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable website enhancements.
- Own and manage a prioritized backlog of website updates, working closely with the development team to ensure timely execution.
- Optimize web user journeys to improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Implement and refine SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and search rankings.
Email marketing:
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns aligned with business goals.
- Create engaging, personalized email content to nurture leads and retain customers.
- Implement audience segmentation strategies to improve campaign performance.
- Analyze campaign data, track KPIs, and provide recommendations for continuous optimization.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and email marketing regulations.
Email marketing:
- Monitor website and email analytics to measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives.
- Generate regular performance reports on key metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions, etc.) and present insights to stakeholders.
- Use data-driven insights to identify areas for continuous improvement
Key Results:
- Enhance website performance (website traffic, bounce rate…)
- Maximize user engagement and conversions (Newsletter signups, leads generation and develop new actions to booster conversion.)
- Develop and optimize email marketing strategies.
Your profile:
Technical and web ops:
- 2-3 years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), DAM, and Marketo.
- Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong experience with Adobe Analytics and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Familiarity with GDPR compliance, cookie management platforms, and web privacy regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with an in-house development team based in China, ensuring smooth integration with CRM and other in-house systems.
Digital marketing:
- Expertise in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), with a strong understanding of A/B testing, UX principles, and customer journey mapping.
- Advanced SEO knowledge, including on-page and technical SEO best practices.
Project & Stakeholder Management:
- Fluent in English & Chinese; proficiency in Italian or another European language is a plus.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies (agency background preferred).
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
