Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Controlling

· Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, controlling, tax and treasury management.

· Ensure accurate and timely financial records in accordance with local regulations and internal policies.

· Act as a backup for the General Accountant when required

· Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning

· Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans

· Analyze budget versus actual performance, identify variances and provide clear explanations and recommendations.

· Support management with financial analysis to drive sound business decisions.

Compliance & Governance

· Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements and internal control standards

· Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, banks and other financial stakeholders.

· Draft and update internal financial policies and procedures as needed.

· Reporting & HQ Coordination

· Review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.

· Review financial statements in accordance with Chinese Accounting Standards to Headquarters.

· Ensure consistency, accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

· Manage cash flow, banking relationships and financing activities.

· Optimize working capital and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.

Business Support & Commercial Finance

· Support the drafting and implementation of rebate policies in collaboration with the Sales team.

· Calculate and manage rebate provisions accurately and in a timely manner.

· Provide financial insights and analysis to support commercial and strategic initiatives.

People Management

· Lead, develop, and supervise the finance team to ensure high performance, efficiency and professional growth.

· Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy and continuous improvement within the finance function.

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field;

· Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.

· Minimum 5–10 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably in multinational companies.

· Strong knowledge of local tax regulations.

· Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior finance, auditor role.

· Solid knowledge of accounting, taxation, budgeting, financial reporting and financial control.

· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP are a plus).

· Experience working with Headquarters

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into business insights.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a finance team.

· Fluency in English ,Chinese and Romania, written and spoken.
