Location: Hoofddorp, Netherland

About the role: Ensure E-truck products in the EU can successfully launch and meet customer and EU markets' requirements.

Reports to: Product Management Section Manager.

Key responsibilities:
· Perform in-depth analysis of the technical features and functions of European trucks to support the development and research of new BYD truck models and related technologies.

· Review emerging regulations, integrate applicable standards, and establish implementation guidelines for truck products.

· Investigate customer requirements and develop technical solutions to meet their needs.

· Develop localized product development strategies for BYD E-trucks in the European market.

· Participate in design evaluations by presenting design proposals and discussing and assessing alternative design solutions.

· Develop localization solutions for E-trucks.

· Evaluate E-truck technical solutions, new technologies, and support new product management.

· Conduct competitive analysis of E-truck products.

Main duties:

Define the core indicators for European E-truck products. Halt the project if the product does not comply with EU regulations or market demand. Escalate product issues to Section Manager or Department Manager.

Requirements & competencies:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Engineering or Product Management. Knowledge of the renewable energy industry is preferred.

· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

· Ability to work in a global environment across the design, development, production, and evolution of high-tech products.

· Strong analytical and systematic thinking skills, demonstrating sound judgment and effective problem-solving abilities.
