Procurement Specialist
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in Italy, focusing on indirect procurement.
This role is responsible for sourcing and managing suppliers that provide various services and operational support resources required by different departments, including marketing, operations, and general business functions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, cost control, and supplier relationship management, while working closely with internal stakeholders across the organization.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an international business environment and capable of managing multiple procurement categories.
Key Responsibilities
Indirect Procurement Management:
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for indirect materials and services.
Conduct supplier sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procurement procedures, and internal control requirements.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and procurement efficiency improvements.
Supplier Sourcing & Development:
Identify and onboard qualified suppliers to support various business needs.
Evaluate supplier capabilities and ensure alignment with company standards.
Develop and maintain a reliable supplier network for different procurement categories.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
Monitor supplier performance in terms of service quality, delivery, and contractual compliance.
Resolve supplier-related issues and support continuous improvement.
Cross-functional Collabration:
Work closely with internal stakeholders across departments, including marketing, operations, finance, and logistics.
Support departments in planning and forecasting procurement requirements.
Ensure effective communication between suppliers and internal teams.
Reporting & Market Analysis:
Monitor market trends and supplier developments within indirect procurement categories.
Prepare reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost developments.
Maintain procurement documentation including contracts, supplier records, and procurement data.

Requirements
Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in indirect procurement or service procurement.
Bachelor’s degree in: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or a related field
Fluency in Italian, English, and Chinese is required for this role.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier sourcing, and contract negotiations.
Experience working in an international or multinational environment is a plus.
