Pan-European Talent Development Lead
Lead Pan-European talent development, shaping leadership pipelines across 20+ markets; partner with senior leaders to grow HiPo talent and cross-cultural capability.
Role Purpose
We are looking for a Pan-European Talent Development Lead to design and drive talent and leadership development initiatives across our European organization.
This role focuses on developing key talents and senior leaders, including Country Managers and high-potential employees, to support rapid business expansion across 20+ European markets.
As a strategic partner to HR and business leadership, the role will play a critical part in building leadership pipelines, strengthening organizational capability, and enabling sustainable growth in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership Development for Senior Roles
● Design and implement leadership development programs for Country Managers and senior commercial leaders
● Partner with senior stakeholders to identify leadership capability gaps and define development priorities
● Provide targeted development solutions (e.g., coaching, workshops, development plans) tailored to business needs
2. Talent Identification & Succession Planning
● Build and drive a Pan-European talent review and succession planning framework
● Identify high-potential talent across markets and functions
● Develop and track succession pipelines for critical roles, especially in sales and market leadership
3. Performance & Development Frameworks
● Support the design and implementation of performance management frameworks aligned with business objectives
● Integrate performance, potential, and development into a coherent talent strategy
● Enable managers to drive effective performance and development conversations
4. Organizational Capability Building
● Identify capability gaps at organizational and functional levels
● Design scalable development initiatives to enhance commercial, leadership, and cross-cultural capabilities
● Support organization effectiveness initiatives in partnership with HR and business leaders
5. Executive & HiPo Development
● Partner with senior HR and leadership to design individual development plans for key executives
● Coordinate external coaching, assessments, and development tools where needed
● Track progress and ensure development interventions translate into business impact
6. Cross-Cultural Leadership Enablement
● Support development of leaders operating in a China-Europe cross-cultural environment
● Design programs to enhance collaboration between Chinese HQ and European teams
● Promote a leadership culture that balances execution focus and local adaptability
Experience & Qualifications
Essential
● 8–12 years of experience in talent development, leadership development, organizational development, or HR business partnering
● Proven experience designing and delivering leadership development programs for senior leaders
● Experience working in multi-country European environments
● Strong understanding of talent management, succession planning, and performance frameworks
● Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders (Director / GM level and above)
● Strong business acumen, ideally with exposure to sales-driven organizations
● Experience working in cross-cultural environments
● Fluency in English
Preferred
● Experience in fast-growing or scaling organizations
● Background in automotive, mobility, technology, or similar industries
● Experience working with or alongside Chinese / Asian companies
● Familiarity with assessment tools, coaching frameworks, or psychometric methodologies
● Certification in coaching or talent development (e.g., ICF, Hogan, etc.)
