BYD Europe BV located in Schiedam, Netherlands is the marketing and sales HQ of BYD Co., Ltd based in Shenzhen, China. BYD Europe BV offers a full line of BYD electric vehicles, including all-electric cars, all-electric buses, and all-electric forklift trucks.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Business Support Specialist for our Financial department.
The Financial department within BYD Europe is responsible for financial planning, financial reporting and analysis, budget control, operational support and business support.
The main objective of the financial department is to ensure stable financial operations and provide supervision and support for business.
The Business Support Specialist reports directly to the Head of Financial Department.
Key Responsibilities
1. Responsible for rebate settlement review, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of rebate settlement;
2. Responsible for business policy review, ensuring the feasibility and timely issuance of business policies.
3. Prepare rebate statements, summarize report data, and report to management to provide support for decision-making.
4. Design and implement reporting solutions to support sales performance tracking and target achievement monitoring.
5. Ensure full understanding of business processes to translate data into meaningful business insights.
6. Prepare regular and ad-hoc analyses to support strategic and operational decisions.
7. Collaborate closely with Sales and operation teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all data and reports.
Requirements
1. MBO or HBO education in finance, accounting, international economics and trade or another related area;
2. 3 years of working experience at least in a similar role;
3. Having work experience in the automotive industry is a plus;
4. Advanced spoken and written English, Chinese is a plus;
5. Knowledge and understanding of corporate finance functions and procedures;
6. Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint);
7. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management;
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data insights clearly;
9. Able to work under pressure and handle multi-tasks.
