Position Summary

The Finance Operations & Reporting role will support the day-to-day financial operations, reporting, reconciliation and transaction control of the European EV Charging business.

The role will ensure that charging transactions are accurately captured from operational systems through payment, invoicing, settlement and accounting, and will support standardised reporting across European markets.

This position will work closely with the European Finance Controller, local Finance teams, China Finance Operations, IT and payment/platform teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Operations

Support and coordinate day-to-day finance processes covering:

Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
General Ledger support
Fixed Assets
CAPEX tracking
Accruals
Intercompany transactions
Cost allocation

2. Transaction Reconciliation

Establish and perform reconciliations across the full transaction flow:

Charging Session → CDR → Price → Payment → Invoice → Settlement → ERP → Bank

Key reconciliations include:

CDR vs charging orders
Orders vs payments
Payments vs invoices
PSP vs bank settlements
Invoices vs ERP
Intercompany balances

3. Revenue & Billing Control

Monitor revenue completeness and accuracy.
Support invoice generation and invoice-quality controls.
Monitor refunds, failed payments and outstanding receivables.
Identify revenue leakage and transaction exceptions.
Support resolution of billing and payment issues.

4. Financial Reporting

Prepare monthly financial and operational reporting.
Support country-level and station-level reporting.
Maintain standard reporting templates.
Support management dashboards and KPI reporting.
Provide actual financial data for FP&A and business-performance analysis.

5. CAPEX & Fixed Asset Support

Track charging-station CAPEX.
Support asset capitalisation.
Maintain fixed-asset data.
Reconcile project spend against approved investment budgets.

6. Finance Process & System Support

Support finance requirements for SAP / ERP, charging platform, PSP, invoicing and BI systems.
Participate in UAT and finance-process testing.
Support automation of reconciliations and reporting.
Maintain finance process documentation.

7. Country Coordination

Follow up with country Finance teams on missing data, open items and closing issues.
Ensure consistent application of finance processes across markets.
Support month-end closing and audit requests.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
3–7 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, reporting or controlling.
Good understanding of accounting and month-end closing.
Strong Excel skills; Power BI preferred.
SAP / ERP experience preferred.
Experience in shared services, regional finance or multi-country operations is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Fluent English.
Additional European languages are a plus.
