Senior HR Project Manager – Overseas Business Division
Location: Europe (open to multiple locations)
Reports to: HR Director, Overseas Business Division
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior HR Project Manager to support strategic HR initiatives across our Overseas Business Division, covering Europe, Americas, and Middle East & Africa (MEA).
Working closely with the HR Director, this role will play a key part in driving regional and global HR priorities, including organizational initiatives, policy deployment, governance programs, compliance projects, leadership talent initiatives, and HR transformation efforts. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple countries and functions, ensuring effective execution of projects in a fast-paced international environment.
This position is open to candidates in multiple locations in Europe and requires a high degree of flexibility for international travel.
Key Responsibilities
HR Project Management & Governance
• Lead and coordinate strategic HR projects across Europe, Americas, and MEA regions.
• Develop project plans, monitor milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
• Track project progress and proactively drive follow-up actions with key stakeholders.
• Organize and facilitate project review meetings, governance forums, and cross-functional discussions.
• Prepare executive presentations, project dashboards, and management reports for senior leadership.
Strategic HR Initiatives
• Support the planning and execution of organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent management, and HR transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate the implementation and localization of global HR policies, frameworks, and programs across overseas regions.
• Drive process optimization and continuous improvement projects to enhance HR operational effectiveness.
• Support change management and communication activities associated with organizational initiatives.
Governance, Compliance & Audit
• Coordinate HR governance, compliance, and audit-related projects across overseas entities.
• Monitor implementation of corporate HR standards and policy requirements.
• Track audit findings and ensure timely completion of corrective action plans.
• Support risk identification and mitigation initiatives related to HR operations and compliance.
Talent & Leadership Projects
• Support leadership and critical talent acquisition projects across overseas regions.
• Participate in talent mapping, succession planning, and organizational capability-building initiatives.
• Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking activities for strategic talent positions.
HR Analytics & Reporting
• Analyze workforce, organizational, and project-related data to support business decision-making.
• Develop regular reports, dashboards, and presentations for regional and global leadership teams.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on HR metrics, workforce trends, and project outcomes.
Regional Collaboration & International Mobility
• Build strong partnerships with HR and business leaders across Europe, Americas, and MEA.
• Support project implementation, stakeholder engagement, governance reviews, and organizational initiatives through regular interaction with regional teams.
• Act as a key liaison between headquarters and overseas stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of HR priorities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in HR Business Partnering, HR Operations, Organizational Development, HR Governance, HR PMO, or HR Project Management roles.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional or regional projects within a multinational environment.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities.
• Experience supporting policy deployment, governance, compliance, audit, or organizational transformation initiatives is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English is required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency is highly preferred.
• Experience working in or supporting China-headquartered multinational organizations is a strong advantage.
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, renewable energy, technology, consulting, or other fast-growing industries is preferred.
• Strong understanding of both Chinese and international business environments.
• Experience working directly with senior leadership and cross-regional stakeholders.
Travel Requirements
• Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally on a frequent basis.
• Comfortable working across multiple regions, cultures, and time zones.
• Ability to support business needs across Europe, Americas, and Middle East & Africa (MEA).
• Expected travel frequency may reach 30%-50% depending on project requirements and business priorities.
