About the department

Network Department is responsible for the dealer management, expansion, performance evaluation, and showroom construction.

Key Responsibilities of the role

Core Project management:
- Manage the overall planning, execution, and delivery of BYD dealership construction projects across the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, including design compliance, supplier development, construction progress monitoring, on-site inspections (when required), and implementation of network construction-related commercial policies.
- Support supplier sourcing, qualification, evaluation, and performance management while establishing and maintaining a regional supplier database.
- Act as the primary project coordinator between Design, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Sales Network, and external suppliers to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Assist in establishing and continuously improving project management processes, standards, and governance to enhance operational efficiency and standardization.
- Prepare regular project progress reports, proactively identify project risks, and drive mitigation actions to ensure successful project delivery.

Daily Support:
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, reports, project records, and other related documents, ensuring completeness and compliance with internal procedures.
- Support day-to-day project coordination and undertake ad hoc assignments to ensure efficient team operations.

Required qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or above in Project Management, International Business, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline. A background in Interior Design or Architectural Design is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, engineering, construction, or retail fit-out projects. Experience in the automotive, retail, or commercial real estate industries is highly desirable.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional projects and external stakeholders, with the ability to coordinate effectively across Design, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, suppliers, and business teams.
- Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar software, with strong documentation and process management skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Chinese or other MEA regional languages is considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable project plans and drive execution.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple concurrent projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced international environment.
- Willingness to travel across the Middle East & Africa region.
