Operations Management Specialist – European Spare Parts
Position Overview
The Operations Management Specialist – European Spare Parts is responsible for coordinating and supporting spare parts operations management across European markets, with a focus on operational risk management, KPI and data management, commercial policy, and process improvement.
Working closely with European markets, regional teams, and headquarters, this role uses data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration to identify operational risks, improve management mechanisms, and continuously enhance spare parts availability and operational efficiency across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
1. Spare Parts Risk Management
Coordinate and consolidate spare parts operational issues and requirements across European markets.
Identify and analyze potential supply and operational risks, and work closely with European and headquarters spare parts teams to drive issue resolution and corrective actions.
Monitor key operational risks and follow up on improvement actions to continuously enhance spare parts supply reliability across European markets.
2. KPI & Data Management
Develop, monitor, analyze, and continuously optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) for European spare parts operations.
Establish and improve operational reporting, dashboards, and performance management mechanisms to provide data-driven insights for business and management decision-making.
Drive standardization of spare parts data definitions and reporting practices across European markets, ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, consistency, and visibility.
3. Spare Parts Commercial Policy Management
Support the development and continuous optimization of spare parts commercial policies for European dealers and service networks, including rebate schemes, performance assessment, and incentive mechanisms.
Monitor policy implementation and business performance across markets, and recommend improvements based on operational data and market feedback.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and alignment of commercial policies across European markets.
4. Operations Management & Process Improvement
Identify process gaps, efficiency issues, and cross-functional challenges within European spare parts operations.
Coordinate cross-market and cross-functional improvement initiatives and drive actions through to implementation.
Continuously improve operational processes, management mechanisms, and working standards to enhance overall operational efficiency and service performance.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Automotive, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
3+ years of relevant experience in automotive aftersales, spare parts operations, supply chain, logistics, operations management, or a related field.
Good understanding of automotive aftersales and spare parts operations, including parts ordering, inventory management, order fulfilment, logistics, and dealer operations.
Strong analytical and data management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, SQL, or other data analytics tools is preferred.
Strong cross-functional communication, stakeholder management, project management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple parties and drive actions to completion.
Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment and collaborate across countries, functions, and organizational levels.
Professional working proficiency in both English and Chinese; additional European language skills are a plus.
Previous experience with an automotive OEM, importer, dealer group, or automotive aftersales organization is preferred.
